Frequently Asked Questions
Is this simply a Séura Lighted Mirror using Lutron LED tape?
No. The solution integrates Lutron lighting, control, and power components into a Séura
engineered complete mirror assembly.
What Lutron components are included?
The mirror design incorporates Rania™ Natural White High-Output LED Tape, a HomeWorks® Multi-Channel Wireless Controller, and a Lutron Power Interface.
Is this compatible with Ketra or Lumaris?
No. The Lutron Native by Design Lighted Mirror collection was specifically engineered around the Lutron Rania™ light engine to deliver the intended performance, integration, reliability, and user experience. The system has been tested and validated as a complete solution using Rania™ components. Other lighting platforms, including Ketra and Lumaris, are not supported.
Do I receive Lutron sales credit for purchasing a Séura Lutron mirror?
No. Lutron Native by Design Lighted Mirrors are purchased directly from Séura and follow standard Séura quoting, ordering, and fulfillment processes. While the mirror incorporates approved Lutron technology, it is sold as a Séura lighted mirror.
Can the dealer supply and install their own Lutron equipment?
No. Each Lutron Native by Design Lighted Mirror is manufactured, assembled, and tested using approved components and installation methods. LED placement, power supply integration, controller mounting, and wireless performance have all been engineered and validated as part of an ETL-listed fixture to UL standards. Allowing field installation or substitution of components would compromise product performance, safety certifications, and regulatory compliance. For these reasons, all lighting and control components are factory-supplied and factory-installed by Séura.
Can the power supply and/or controller be remotely located?
Yes. Remote location is at the discretion and responsibility of the Lutron Custom Integrator, provided the installation remains within the specification parameters of the components. The design and component locations are established in partnership with Lutron and Séura and must align with the specialized housing design, product specifications, and testing to UL safety standards.
Can touch button control or a separate night light be included?
Not at this time. Control will be exclusive to Lutron HomeWorks®, making touch button control not applicable. Rania™ lighting may be programmed to provide a suitable nightlight setting.
Can a TV Mirror be included in a Lutron Native by Design™ Lighted Mirror?
Not at this time, but we anticipate this option may become available in the future. Please contact Séura for current Lighted TV Mirror options.
Who provides warranty and support?
Séura is your point of contact.
Lutron components are covered by a five-year manufacturer's warranty from the date of purchase from Séura.
Séura stands behind the complete mirror assembly and serves as the primary point of contact for support. If an issue arises, Séura will help assess the situation, provide troubleshooting support, and guide the customer through the appropriate next steps.
Can I order custom mirror sizes?
Yes, every mirror is built to order and can be customized to meet project requirements.
