Elevating a Beloved Family Home Into a Modern Retreat

After more than two decades in their Weston residence, the homeowners approached Pavlides Studio with a clear vision: transform their long-time family home into a series of elevated, intimate spaces that support how they live today. They were looking for a distinct environment where family members could retreat, recharge, and enjoy a more luxurious everyday experience.

Pavlides Studio reimagined the interiors with a highly curated, modern approach rooted in clean architecture, sculptural forms, and layered lighting. Integrated lighting played a major role in bringing that vision to life.

A Modern, Light-Layered Experience

Throughout the renovation, lighting quality and control were central design considerations. The homeowners are passionate about lighting design and rely heavily on Lutron scene controls to shape the atmosphere of each room. Séura’s lighted mirrors were integrated to add another purposeful layer to that strategy.

“We created a true luxury lifestyle. Integrated lighting keeps things modern and provides the perfect light for getting ready day or night,” Stephanie Pavlides, Principal of Pavlides Studio.

Lighted Mirrors Tailored to Every Retreat Within the Home

Pavlides Studio introduced the Séura Allegro Lighted Mirror in three guest bathrooms to keep these spaces feeling clean, bright, and welcoming. In these quieter rooms, the mirror provides clarity at the vanity while allowing the simplicity of the finishes to speak for themselves.

In the bunk suite, the lighted mirror provides a clean, balanced light that supports quick routines while complementing the room’s playful character. It elevates a high-traffic space without introducing visual weight.

The primary bath, however, is where the mirror becomes part of the artistry. Framed by dramatic stone veining and warm wood cabinetry, the Allegro introduces a precise line of light that sharpens the contrast and draws out the richness of the materials. Instead of competing with the design, it heightens it by catching the edges of the stone and reflecting its movement. In this room, the mirror is not just a task light, it’s a compositional tool that supports the boldness of the space.

Across each of these spaces, the mirror’s clean and minimal profile aligned seamlessly with the studio’s palette. Because lighted mirrors provide bright, even illumination without visual distraction, they are an ideal choice for dressing, grooming, and daily routines, whether in a quiet primary suite or a high-traffic guest area.

Conclusion

By integrating Séura’s lighted mirrors throughout the Weston Family Retreat, Pavlides Studio was able to elevate function without compromising design intent. The mirrors support the home’s layered lighting strategy, complement the architecture, and bring clarity and comfort to the spaces where homeowners and guests begin and end their day. The result is a cohesive, modern retreat where every detail contributes to a refined, luxury living experience.
