September 28th, 2009
CHICAGO, (September 28, 2009) — Situated in the heart of the Gold Coast, the new Elysian hotel has redefined classic elegance and glamorous luxury. For the lavishly designed hotel, this meant incorporating SÉURA Television Mirrors in every guest suite.
The hotel is comprised of 188 guest rooms, 52 private residences, two restaurants, a bar, function space and a health club and spa. Each of the guest bath suites offers an unsurpassed level of sophistication, highlighted by twin SÉURA mirrors.
Both mirrors feature highly customized beveled glass frames with matching mirrors from SÉURA’s Enhanced Series™ of vanishing television mirrors. One of the two mirrors in each suite is equipped with SÉURA’s proprietary vanishing television technology.
When off, the Television Mirror is simply a mirror, with a bright, uninterrupted reflection. When powered on, the LCD picture materializes on the surface of the mirror.
This particular model features SÉURA’s own award-winning LCD technology: The ONE™. Boasting an ultra-thin profile of only one inch, The ONE™ makes installation a breeze. Designed specifically for use in SÉURA mirrors, characteristics such as brightness, definition, and audio options have all been fine-tuned for the optimal viewing experience.
Other guest room highlights include white Carrara marble bathrooms with soaking tubs, 460-thread count Rivolta Carmignani Italian bed linens, a 1920s-inspired color palette of either champagne or platinum, and advanced in-room technology including touch screen Voice-Over-IP telephones and Bowers & Wilkins integrated sound system.
Designed by renowned architect Lucien Lagrange, and interiors by the Simeone Deary Design Group, the Elysian achieves a sense of timeless glamour, with all the conveniences of today’s most advanced technology. SÉURA’s Television Mirrors are of course, no exception.
